Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
When you sign up, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name and profile photo via Google OAuth. When you upload a resume, we store the file and the structured data we extract from it. When you run an optimization, we store the inputs (company, role, job description) and outputs (optimized bullets). When you contribute bullets, we store the bullets and your LinkedIn URL for verification purposes.
2. How we use your data
Your resume data is used solely to perform optimizations you request. We do not sell your data to third parties. Contributed bullets are anonymized and stored as aggregate patterns — your name and identity are never associated with the published dataset. We use Anthropic's Claude API to process your resume; data sent to Claude is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy.
3. Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase, a PostgreSQL-backed cloud database with row-level security. Resume files are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. We do not share database access with third parties.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies for authentication (managed by Supabase). We do not currently use third-party analytics trackers. We may add privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible) in the future and will update this policy accordingly.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled.
6. Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also delete individual resumes and optimization runs from within the app. We will comply with all data deletion requests within 30 days.
