Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account and using Calibr, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Calibr does
Calibr is an AI-powered resume optimization tool. We use large language models (Claude by Anthropic) and web research to suggest improvements to your resume bullets. Our output is a suggestion — we make no guarantee that using Calibr will result in an interview, offer, or employment. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any suggested content.
3. Your content
You own the content you upload, including your resume and any bullets you submit. By uploading content, you grant Calibr a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the service. Contributed bullets are stored anonymously and may be used to improve future optimizations for other users.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to upload content that you do not own or have the right to share, attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the service, create fake or misleading contributions, use the service to generate content intended to deceive employers, or violate any applicable law.
5. Credits and payments
Credits are purchased and consumed as described on the pricing page. Credits are non-refundable unless a technical failure on our part prevents completion of an optimization (in which case the credit is automatically refunded). Subscription plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time with access continuing until the end of the billing period.
6. Contributions
When you submit bullets to the contribution program, you confirm they are your own and accurately reflect your experience. False submissions will result in account suspension and disqualification from earning credits. We reserve the right to reject any contribution for any reason.
7. Disclaimer
Calibr is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated output. We are not responsible for any employment decisions made based on content generated by the service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calibr's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to Calibr in the 12 months prior to the claim.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Contact
